1. Students registered in this program must have passed all music placement exams, or have completed the remedial Theory and Ear Training courses during the summer prior to Semester 1. A student who fails one or more courses in the Double DEC may be removed from the program and required to choose which of the two programs (Music OR Science) to pursue.

2. Most students, depending on their instrument, will be required to take second instrument piano as Cours au Choix I and II (reflected in the total credits and hours).

3. Humanities 103 is one hour longer and one-third more credit than 102 and block B. An adjustment in credits and hours will need to be made if 103 is taken in any semester other than semester 3.

4. First Instrument III and IV may each be spread over two semesters so that a student will not lack private instruction on their instrument in any semester. The 2.66 credits for the course are indicated in the first half of the course, but it is understood that the work to receive this credit would be carried out over two semesters.

5. Block B French and a Complementary may be taken in semester 4 or 5 alternately.
